Hi my name is Ali Aljoom! I’m a motivated chef that loves cooking and putting a satisfied smile on people’s face! Food is my passion and the love started when my family moved out of the country during high school and I stayed behind to finish school.
I missed my mom’s home cooking and started trying making her food at home, and I fell in love with food, from there I started exploring other cuisines and recipes!I
I started Aljoom’s bbq in 2015 because I’ve always wanted to try American bbq but there was no halal options, so I decided to start the first one in Michigan, and maybe America!
I started in River rouge inside the back of a gas station and it was an instant success! in 2019 I bought Burger Shack in Dearborn Heights and added my bbq menu and re invented it, I pride myself in serving good food with good intentions, I believe in serving food the way I would eat it and never cutting corners!
I only use the best and the freshest organic ingredients, I know flavor and and that’s what you get every time! To me, a customer’s satisfaction is worth more than money! I am working on expanding to satisfy the appetite of people all over America, one day all over the world!!
