Dr. Al-Atassi graduated form the University of Aleppo Medical School in 1997 and did residency at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center (Chicago) as well as St. John Hospital (Detroit). He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Al-Atassi has served several terms as Chief of Staff at Kindred Hospital as well as serving on the Medical Executive Committee.Dr. Al-Atassi has a special interest in the geriatric population and chronic illness management. Dr. Al-Atassi continues to make daily rounds at Beaumont Hospital of Troy and Accession Providence Hospital of Rochester.
