Farah Al-khersan’s passion for immigration law stems from her own experiences as an immigrant.
Her family fled Iraq when she was young and moved to New Zealand before settling in the United States.
Farah graduated from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor with a Bachelor’s in English and Spanish.
During her undergraduate career, Farah worked at the University of Michigan Law School – Pediatric Advocacy Initiative, assisting immigrants in applying for public and immigration benefits.
