While working at the New York State Energy Office in Albany, New York, George obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance.
He later worked at the Maryland Public Service Commission as a financial analyst.
During this time period he provided expert testimony on the rate of return that should be earned by public utilities.
While working at Potomac Capital Investment, George obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
He joined his brother John in 1991, forming the firm now known as the Hermina Law Group.
