History
Established in 1930.
Littlefield Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) developed from a "Sabbath School," which was first organized in January of 1929 at a storefront on W.
Warren.
From this humble beginning, Littlefield has continued in strong commitment to Jesus Christ and to the proclamation of the Gospel.
The congregation was organized in 1930, led by the Rev.
Samuel Weir and worshipped at McDonald School until the building was completed.
The congregation has been led by the Rev.
Harry L.
Geissinger (1961-84), Rev.
Delmar Meester (1985-94), and Rev.
Dr. William Gepford served as Director of Arab/American Relations.
Rev.
Fran Hayes has been our pastor since 1997.
Littlefield Church was awarded an Ecumenical Service Award in 1991 in recognition of its extensive ecumenical and interfaith work.
In our location, we are "demographically challenged," in terms of growing into a bigger church.
But you will find reverent and joyful worship, scripturally grounded preaching, wonderful music, and a commitment to mission.

Rev.
Fran Hayes has been the pastor of Littlefield since 1997.
She lives in Dearborn and is a familiar face in the community.
A "people person," she enjoys reading and gardening.
This is a challenging time for the church, and Pastor Hayes is committed to finding new ways to reach out to those who have been wounded or turned off by a church, to bring people together to share their spiritual journeys, study God's word together, and to learn how to follow Jesus so that people will truly know we are Christians by our love.
