The mission of the Shia Islamic center of Baton Rouge, Mateen Center, is to establish a place of worship of Almighty Allah swt (subhan wa taala/all praises are for Allah) and to provide a learning environment for Muslims and Non-Muslims using the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him).
