Dr. Dakak is the founding pediatrician at Kern Pediatrics.
He has been working as a pediatrician in Bakersfield since 2008.
He completed medical school in 2004 at the Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and residency training at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Arizona.
After residency, Dr. Dakak joined Kern Medical Center in 2008 as an Associate in Pediatrics and worked at the Sagebrush Pediatric Clinic for 3 years.
There he was a Volunteer Clinical Faculty Member at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine.
He has also worked at the Pedi Center Urgent Care from 2009-20.
In 2012 he decided to start his own practice and pursue his dream of serving the underserved population of Bakersfield.
