The meaning of the Arabic word Al Sabeel is the "Path to the light" of Islam.We are inspired by the teachings of the Qur'an to create a faith-based community dedicated to peace, justice, and compassion.
We provide religious and social services to a large and diverse Muslim community in the Bay Area.
Located in San Francisco, we are able to work with other Muslim and Non Muslim communities dedicated to peace and justice in the Bay Area.If you live in San Francisco Bay Area and you are interested to visit our Masjid, view one of the daily prayer services, attend one of our events, have a project or paper about Islam and Muslims, or just to converse with the many members of the Masjid and the Imam, please request a Masjid Visit.
