Description

Attorney Ameer Alkhalidi joined the law firm of Elia and Ponto as a law clerk in 2015.
In 2018, he joined the firm as a licensed attorney.
However, his experience in the legal field predates his employment with Elia and Ponto.
Prior to joining the firm, he completed an internship at the Wayne County Prosecutors office in the Community Prosecution and Forfeiture Division.
His years of exposure in the legal field have allowed him to gain valuable knowledge and an understanding of the law in multiple areas.
Mr. Alkhalidi focuses his practice on auto negligence claims, claims seeking payment of No-Fault benefits wrongly denied, general negligence, dog bite, and premises claims.
When not advocating for his clients, Mr. Alkhalidi is a family man and active member of his community. Mr. Alkhalidi studied Political Science at the University of Michigan-Dearborn before earning his Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he graduated with honors.
His hard work and determination throughout law school resulted in him being selected to receive the Presidential Achievement Award out of a class of over 150 individuals.
He is a member of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and State Bar of Michigan.
