His journey began when, not knowing any English, he had difficulty navigating through a new culture after moving to the U.S.
from Peru.
He wished his parents would have exposed him to English early on, as learning language becomes more difficult with age.
After becoming a teacher of high-school Spanish, he saw students lacked both motivation and a foundation in a second language.
Simultaneously, while working at a language school for young children, he noticed how youngsters easily absorbed language.
Between his personal journey and professional observations, he saw firsthand the need for children's second language programs.
Thus, Bright Loritos was born.
