The Medical Center Islamic Society is a group of men, women and children joined together to conserve and promote Islamic culture and teachings in the greater city of Houston.
The MCIS is based on the Almeda Masjid that was found around 2001.
The MCIS is called also Unity Center and Mishkah Center.
