Mekhail began his legal career as a legal intern at Hudson County Superior Court Civil division.
While in law school, he was selected for a prestigious and highly competitive placement at the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
There, Mekhail held the position of Judicial Intern to the Honorable Michael A.
Shipp, United States District Judge.
During his time at the Federal United States District Court, Mekhail conducted extensive legal research, drafted proposed opinions, and orders, addressing a variety of substantive and procedural federal issues.
In addition, Mekhail was a Graduate Teaching Consultant at Seton Hall University School of Law Institute for Pre-Legal Studies Program under the supervision of Professor Brenda Saunders where he mentored aspiring law students.
