Reem Moussa is a native Texas attorney who grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Arlington.
She earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M University School of Law.As a first generation Arab-American who is also fluent in Arabic, Ms.
Moussa witnessed as family members immigrated to the United States, and the immigration process they were subject to.
As a result, Ms.
Moussa feels passionately about immigrants and the hardships they face individually and with their families.Prior to joining Chavez & Valko, LLP, Ms.
Moussa practiced law in a variety of settings.
During and briefly after law school, Ms.
Moussa worked in the area of criminal defense law, where she assisted in felony and post-conviction cases.
Subsequently, she focused on immigration law, and has experience in various areas, including immigrant and nonimmigrant investment visas, employment-based visas, family-based immigrant visas, nonimmigrant visas, asylum, and citizenship and naturalization applications.
Ms.
Moussa worked in various private practice firms before becoming an Associate Attorney at Chavez & Valko, LLP.
