Biography
Waseem Imam, DO, is an allergy, asthma, and allergy specialist serving patients from the communities of Dallas, Irving, Euless, Bedford, Coppell, and Fort Worth, at Cure Allergy Clinic, located in Arlington, Texas.
Dr. Imam was born in Boston, Massachusetts.
He completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, with a focus on cognitive heuristics and their effect on diagnosis error in the field of medicine.
Afterward, Dr. Imam completed his master's in biomedical sciences before attending medical school at Lincoln Memorial University.
He completed his Internal Medicine training at the prestigious Henry Ford Hospital in downtown Detroit, where his interests included research in inflammatory bowel disease (IBS) and immunology.
He completed his fellowship in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology in Miami, Florida, at the same time as finishing his obesity medicine board certification.
Dr. Imam is triple board-certified; his certifications include Adult and Pediatric Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, Internal Medicine, and Obesity Medicine.
