He has assisted with challenges to federal public health budgeting cuts, immigration proceedings for asylum-seekers, criminal record expunctions, and family court proceedings.
He is currently assisting Texas residents with FEMA disaster relief appeals.Before attending law school, Mr.
Al-Hendy served as a teacher in the Houston Independent School District and a member of President Obama's Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
He also worked as a staff writer for Bleacher Report, covering soccer around the world with a focus on the English Premier League.
