Said El-Zayat, MD, is board-certified in family medicine.
Dr. El-Zayat earned his medical degree from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Medicine in Egypt.
He completed his internship at Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Montreal, Canada.
He also completed two residencies - one at Hôpital de Verdun in Canada and another at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in California.
Dr. El-Zayat also completed a geriatric medicine fellowship at the Veterans Affairs West Los Angeles Medical Center.
Dr. El-Zayat chose the field of family medicine because of the wide variety of patients he can help.
He sees children, adults, and senior adults.
In addition to prescribing traditional medicines, Dr. El-Zayat also believes in certain alternative healthcare practices.
In his spare time, Dr. El-Zayat enjoys sampling cuisines and traveling.
In addition to English, he speaks Arabic and French.
